ALDI fans are going wild for a Dairylea dupe which has “more flavour than the branded version” – and it’s a third cheaper.

Cheese lover Kirst May is raving about the Emporium Dip-It cheese dip with sour cream and chives tubes.

Posting on the “Food Finds UK Official” Facebook group, Kirst May said: “Really nice, 10/10 – a lot more flavour than branded version.

“From Aldi, forgot what price. I have been trying to get these for a while.

“They weren’t in the shop until the other day so if you get the chance to get any, get a few packs.”

You can pick up a Dip-It four pack for just £1.75 from Aldi, although stocks often run out.

The discount chain says that the Dairylea dupe is a source of calcium and protein – and is perfect for lunch boxes.

Not everyone agreed with Kirst May’s enthusiastic review for the cheesy dippers.

Zowie said: “Unless they’ve changed the recipe recently for the better, I didn’t like them.

“Tasted nothing like the leading brand.”
