SHOPPERS are racing to snap up a dupe of the famous fragrance Black Opium that’s selling for just £1.99.

The dupe is named Opal Black and is said to be inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s popular smell.

A 30ml bottle of this designer fragrance would set you back £67. 

But the Opal Black dupe sells for only £1.99 at Home Bargains.

The post said: “You may have all seen this but Home Bargains had this dupe earlier £1.99.. swear it smells better than the real thing, noticed a Marc Jacobs Daisy Dupe too.”

Black Opium is described by Yves Saint Laurent as a “captivating floral gourmand scent” with dark, roasted notes of coffee.

Another person posted: “I sprayed this in my local store, and by time I had walked round and left, there was no smell.”

While a third wrote: “Brilliant, I will try this. I love black opium it’s the only perfume I wear so will save me a lot of pennies.”

That dupe scent is called Dream Summer and sells for £1.99.
