If you’ve been holding out on a sale to buy a new Android phone, then the time has come: Several of our favorites are on sale. Most of these deals don’t have a specified end date, which means that prices could go back up at any time.
Note that some of the devices are facing shipping delays due to high demand during the coronavirus pandemic, but if you don’t mind waiting a bit to get your phone, you can lock in the discounted price and order now.
If you buy something using the links in our stories, we may earn a small affiliate commission. Here’s how this works. You can also support our reporting and reviewing by purchasing a 1-year print + digital WIRED subscription for $5 (Discounted).
The phones below are all unlocked, and they should work on all the major carriers, with the exception of the OnePlus 7T—it’s not compatible with Sprint’s network. We’ve also linked to the cheapest option on sale, so feel free to browse for variants with more storage if you need more space.
Samsung Galaxy S20 128 GB for $800 ($200 off): Released in March 2020, the Galaxy S20 is one of the best new phones (9/10, WIRED Recommends) you can get. The screen and battery life are both superb, and while the camera has some shortcomings, it’s still fun to use and thrillingly versatile. The S20 Plus is also $200 off. These are all-glass slabs, so make sure to protect your purchase with one of the Best S20 Phone Cases. Best Buy also has the same $200 off deal.
OnePlus 7T 128 GB for $499 ($100 off): This is one of the best deals on a phone right now, and you can get it for $474 from Amazon too. The OnePlus 7T (8/10, WIRED Recommends) may not be OnePlus’ newest phone, but it’s still one of our favorites, because it’s powerful, has a 90-Hz smooth display, and there’s a solid triple-camera array for some versatile photography.
Google Pixel 4 XL 64 GB for $599 ($300 off): We really like the Google Pixel 4 (8/10, WIRED Recommends), mostly because it has the best camera you can hope to find on an Android phone. It’s a shame the base model comes with only 64 GB of storage (with no MicroSD card slot), so it might be worth spending the extra $100 to get the 128-GB model. Our biggest gripe with it is battery life, which will barely get you through a full day. The deal is also available from Best Buy with an extra $50 off if you activate it via your carrier upon purchase. The smaller Pixel 4 is also discounted. Head here to find out which Pixel 4 is right for you.
Google Pixel 3A 64 GB for $299 ($100 off): The Pixel 3A (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is the Best Cheap Android Phone, and with this sale, buying it is a no-brainer. The camera is excellent, the processor is speedy enough, and there’s even a headphone jack—a feature that’s in short supply these days. You can also get the same deal at Best Buy. A new Pixel 4A is expected to launch soon, but this phone is still a good buy.
Samsung Galaxy S10 for $600 ($150 off): There are several different Galaxy S10 models, and they’re all on sale. We have a handy guide on which one to pick if you’re stuck. Really, though, you can’t go wrong; we gave the S10 a 9/10 in our review. It might be a year old, but it’s still powerful, has a good camera set, solid battery life, and gorgeous color options.
