Spotify has just dropped a massive hint that this year’s Spotify Wrapped might be dropping today.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the streaming giant wrote: ‘Wrapped is… close. So close.’
The once-a-year Wrapped feature will soon lay out just how cool or cringy your music choices have been this year and reveal what you’ve had on loop in the last 12 months.
On social media, speculation has run rampant about the exact release date.
While many people have suggested that the feature may drop on Friday, others have claimed that it could be released as early as today.

However, in the wake of Spotify’s cryptic post, social media speculation has run wild with a number of different suggestions emerging.
One popular theory is that Wrapped will be dropping on Friday to coincide with the first day of December.
Several commenters excitedly pointed out that the 2021 Spotify Wrapped was released on 1 December and that the release has come in December every year before 2022.

Barely able to contain their excitement another commenter added: ‘WDYM IT’S OUT FRIDAY?! Already????’
Other social media users verged into even wilder speculation as commenters dove into the scant details of Spotify’s post for answers.

Upon opening the app you should be presented with an invitation to get right into your Wrapped report.
If you dismiss the invitation or want to get back to it later on your mobile then simply head over to the Spotify Wrapped web page.
If you have the app installed already the site will open the app on your 2023 Spotify Wrapped summary.
On the homepage of your app, you can also search for ‘Wrapped’ which will bring up the ‘Your Top Songs’ playlist under the ‘Made for You’ tag.
On your computer simply log in to the browser or desktop app to see the notification for your Wrapped report or follow the link to the Wrapped website for more info.
