PlayStation’s next exclusive has fans going wild and five other big games coming in April

MARCH was a bumper month for games as we saw the launch of Dragon’s Dogma 2, Princess Peach Showtime! and Unicorn Overlord.

There are still some amazing games coming out in April, so gamers won’t have the chance to rest yet.

Stellar Blade, the long-awaited PlayStation exclusive, is launching this month, alongside five other big-name games.

Here are the biggest games launching in April 2024.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

A spiritual successor to the hugely popular Suikoden series, Eiyuden Chronicle is trying to bring the JRPG series back into the limelight.

Developed by Yoshitaka Murayama, the creator of the most popular Suikoden 1 and 2 games, players have faith in the series revival.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will launch on April 23 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau

Tales of Kenzera: Zau is an upcoming metroidvania, developed by a new studio and being published by EA.

It follows the journey of a young shaman, Zau, who goes on a journey in the hopes of reviving his late father.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau will be released on April 23 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch.

SaGa: Emerald Beyond

The SaGa series has been running since the ‘80s, but we haven’t seen a full home console game in the series since 2002.

Emerald Beyond hopes to bring the series back with the same character recruitment and branching stories that JRPG fans love.

SaGa: Emerald Beyond launches on April 25 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Android, and iOS.

Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade’s demo is out now, and the upcoming PlayStation exclusive has wowed fans with its character design and challenging but rewarding combat.

Similar to soulslike games, you will have to build up your weapons and abilities to take on challenging bosses.

Stellar Blade is a PS5 exclusive launching on April 26.

Sand Land

Created in part by late Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, Sand Land is one of his last projects.

This is an action RPG based on his iconic manga turned anime series that fans are hyped for.

Sand Land releases on April 26 for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S

Sea of Thieves

Originally an Xbox exclusive, Sea of Thieves is the latest game to go multi-platform.

Developed by Rare, you play online as a pirate, building your ship, while trading and pillaging on the high seas.

Sea of Thieves will finally launch on PS5 on April 30.
