Aldi’s £30 copycat Sleepyhead is £100 cheaper than the designer one

ALDI is selling a copycat Sleepyhead sleeping pod for babies for £100 less than the designer version.

The Clevamama White Snuggle Nest is part of the discounter’s new baby and toddler range and costs £29.99.

It’s similar to designer versions, including the Sleepyhead Deluxe Plus and the DockATot Deluxe, both of which would set you back £130 from BuggyBaby.co.uk.

The bargain product may prove to be a life saver for parents looking to hold onto some cash when kitting out their new baby.

Aldi says its Snuggle Nest is lightweight and portable so it can easily be carried around the house.

It’s machine washable and is made from “ClevaFoam”, which is proven to support and protect your baby’s growing body.

The material is hypo-allergenic and the cover is removable so it can be washed separately.

However, unlike the Sleepyhead deluxe, Aldi’s baby sleeping pod is only suitable for children aged between 0 and six months.

The designer version will last you longer as it is suitable for babies up to the age of eight-months-old.

Despite this, the supermarket sleeping pod is slightly bigger than the Sleepyhead one, at 87cm long and 52cm wide compared to 45cm wide and 85cm long.

Of course, it’s worth noting that while there are some similarities between the products, you may be compromising on quality with the cheaper version.

Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.

CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

The discounter is stocking the sleeping aid as a Special Buy, which means the number available is limited and will only be around for as long as stocks last.
