PARENTS can save cash on baby products as retailers, including Boots, Asda and Aldi, slash prices over the new year.

Several high street retailers have already launched sales or are planning to run them from next month.

Shoppers have been told to save a number of dates by Facebook group Money Saver Online, which has drawn up a list of when you can get bargains from your favourite shops. We’ve included the dates in the box below.

Some events are already live, such as Tesco’s, and Asda’s, and others are due to start over the next few weeks.  

If you live in tier four areas where non-essential shops have been forced to close, you might have to shop online for some of these deals.

But before you splash out, make sure you compare prices online – you might be able to find a better deal elsewhere.

When shops are launching baby sales

Pop these dates in the calendar to make sure to get your haul.

Asda

  • George early bird baby event is live now
  • The main baby event is expected to start on 4 or 11 of January 

Aldi 

  • The supermarket’s baby event will start online on the 10 January and 14 January in-store

Matalan

  • Customers can shop Matalan’s baby event on 1 January online and the full event will be available from the 5 January to the 11.

Tesco

  • You can shop the supermarket’s baby event now, it started on the 29 December

Lidl

  • This baby event starts on the 21 January and ends on the 27.

Boots

  • It is expected that the baby event will start on 13 January
  • Last year, it started on 15 January

Morrisons

  • This event will start in the second half of January.

And if you’re shopping online, you’ll also need to factor in delivery costs on top of the price of your item.

Asda’s George early bird baby event is now live so you can trawl for your haul.

There are plenty of deals on essentials, such as this stroller which was £119.99 and is now £79.99.

And you can get nearly 40% off this safety gate that was £44.99 and is now £27.74.  

This baby carrier is also on sale, down from £49.99 to £35, meaning you’ll save nearly £15.

Tesco has also already launched its baby sale.

You can get up to 50% off but there’s a catch – the majority of deals are only for Tesco Clubcard members.

It is free to register for a Clubcard though – you can do this through the Tesco website.

Once you’ve signed up, you can get deals like this pack of 27 nappies for £4.50, down from £7.

And this Tommee Tippee cup is £4 down from £6.

It’s expected that the Boots’ baby event will be launched soon, around mid January.

But in the meantime, there’s some good discounts being offered – including half price off selected Mothercare clothing.

You can shop online for Aldi’s baby event on the 10 January and in store on the 14 January.
