Due to the pandemic, you may not be able to celebrate the way you’re used to but it could be worth sending the lady in your life a surprise delivery.
The prices of delivery bouquets vary wildly, starting from £5 on Sainsbury’s website, while Interflora’s cheapest bouquet sets you back £35.
It’s well worth shopping around though as the delivery fees vary too.
If money is tight, don’t panic – below we’ve rounded up the cheapest Mother’s Day bouquets we could find online this year.
What happens if you’re not happy with your flowers?
IF the flowers you’ve ordered online arrive in a sorry state, there might be something you can do about it.
Consumer group Which? advises you take the following steps to get a refund:
- Take a picture as evidence of poor condition or damage to your flowers as this will help support your complaint.
- If a loved one or friend has sent you flowers that have arrived in a poor condition or late, make sure you tell them. Otherwise the retailer may say they can’t access the order information and won’t resolve the problem.
- If you order a specific number of flowers but fewer than this amount are delivered to you, you’re entitled to a partial refund for the missing flowers.
Of course, if you’re able to visit your mum in person or if you can pop by her doorstep, you may be able to find cheaper flowers in supermarkets.
For example, Aldi’s Mother’s Day flower range is available from March 11 and its prices start from just £1.99 for a pocket money posy.
Where can I get the cheapest bouquets for delivery?

- Sainsbury’s: The supermarket has listed a wide range of Mother’s Day flowers online, with prices starting from £5 for a pastel fun posy. You can only order them from March 11 as part of your grocery delivery, with delivery fees ranging from 50p to £7. There’s also a £25 minimum spend.
- Asda: Asda is selling a Mother’s Day flowers and chocolate bundle for £9. Its delivery charges range between £3 and £5.50. There’s also a £40 minimum spend on home delivery orders and a £25 minimum spend for click and collect.
- B&M Flowers – The retailer’s prices start from £14.99 for a bouquet with 11 stems, and you can get free next day delivery by ordering by 10pm.
- Eflorist – Eflorist’s Mother’s Day range prices start from £17.99 for a hyacinth bouquet, but you’ll have to pay £5.99 for delivery.
- Flying Flowers – The online florist is selling 18 tulips for £19.99, and you can get a free pack of chocolates by adding the code “FREECHOCS”. It offers free delivery via Royal Mail, or you can get same-day delivery for £9.
- Marks & Spencer – M&S’ Mother’s Day flower range starts from £20, and it includes free delivery.
- Prestige Flowers – Its Mother’s Day range starts from £22.99 for a rose and lily bouquet including a box of truffles, and delivery fees start from £5.99.
- Bloom & Wild – The online florist’s prices start from £23 for its letterbox flowers, and you can get free delivery.
- Arena Flowers – Gift your mum scented violets through the letterbox with Arena Flowers, which cost from £25. If you order by 7pm, you’ll get free next day delivery.
- Applyard Flowers – The prices of bouquets start from £29.99 at Appleyard Flowers, excluding its £5.99 delivery fee, but you can get Mother’s Day plants from £19.99.
- Interflora – Interflora’s flower range starts from £35 for a Mother’s Day gift box, excluding a £7 delivery fee.
