AMAZON founder Jeff Bezos has pledged to give most of his $124billion net worth away to charity in his lifetime.

The billionaire, 58, has revealed he wants to donate the majority of his wealth to combatting climate change and supporting people.

Bezos said he and partner Lauren Sánchez are “building the capacity to be able to give away this money”.

When asked by CNN whether that meant the majority of his wealth within his lifetime, he confirmed: “Yeah, I do”.

The Amazon owner is the world’s second richest person, with Elon Musk just ahead in the number one stop.
