When you buy food or drink at McDonald’s you’ll be given a 12 digit unique code on your receipt.

Visit McDonald’s Food for Thoughts site to enter the code and fill in a survey about your last meal.

When you tell McDonald’s what you thought of the food you’ll be given a five digit code.

Jot this down on the same receipt as your original order and it will become your voucher.

Speaking on ITV’s This Morning today, Martin recommended buying a 20p sweet curry dip to get your first receipt so you can save even more money.

When you claim your discounted Big Mac, you’ll get another code to buy another cheap meal and the cycle continues.

As a meal, the duo usually costs £4.79, so you can save £2.80 and get it for more than half the price with the rewards offer.

“You’ll never pay the £4 for the Big Mac and fries,” Martin said.

You can also swap the Big Mac for a Veggie Deluxe or Filet-o-Fish and replace the chips with a side salad.

Martin revealed the deal on TV today but it’s not a new hack – we wrote about it earlier this month.

We’ve asked McDonald’s how long the deal will run for, and we’ll update this page when we hear back.

You can find your nearest McDonald’s by using the fast food chain’s online store locator.

Enter your postcode and the webpage will bring up your nearest branches.

Or if you’re using the app, you’ll be asked to enter your postcode to find your local McDonald’s.

The receipt trick will work in any McDonald’s store, just hand over your receipt to the cashier when you pay.

Until July 26, My McDonald’s app users can vote for their favourite deal and the most popular will then be available the next day at a discount.

You can also cool off by getting a McDonald’s McFlurry for “free” by using cashback website TopCashback.
