The bargain supermarket chain previously reduced the price of the chocolates to £1.50, but dropped them to 75p to clear them off the shelves.

It comes after Asda launched a new own-brand cookies and cream flavour spread that has shoppers rushing to the tills.

The £1.85 condiment has been a hit with customers with many enjoying the artificial flavours, giving the sweet taste fans love.

Excited customers took to Facebook to let others know the new treat was on the shelves.

One person commented: “The cookies and cream is amazing and gluten-free also a win-win for my son.”

“The cookies and cream one is lush,” another user added.
