Fortnite on Xbox Series X

Fortnite on the Xbox Series X will be visually more impressive than on the Series S – and compared to the Xbox One.

That’s thanks to the improved hardware on board the top-end Microsoft console, which is capable of far more significant graphical processing.

For Series X owners, you’ll enjoy Fortnite running in stunning 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.

The world has been remade to be more dynamic and interact too, with special physics like grass and trees responding to explosions.

There are enhanced fluid simulations for smoke and liquid, as well as new Storm and cloud effects.

Loading performance has also been improved.

This means textures will load faster, but you’ll also start games up more quickly too.

Fortnite on Xbox Series S

On the Series S, you’ll be able to play the game in Full HD 1080p at 60 frames per second.

And you’ll get many of the visual enhancements that are making their way to the Series X.

Just like on the Series X, you’ll enjoy faster overall loading on the Series S.

Fortnite on PlayStation 5

The PlayStation version of Fortnite is getting loads of upgrades.

Exclusively, the console will enjoy new support for the PlayStation’s DualSense controller.

This uses haptic feedback to let you “feel” like you’re actually using the weapons – through vibrations, resistance and tension sensations.

You’ll play the game in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, and you’ll enjoy the same new dynamic visuals and physics featured on the Xbox Series X.

Loading is also significantly improved, improving textures and also game start-up speeds.

You can also now render split-screen Fortnite gaming at 60 frames per second.
