As a result, hospitality businesses including restaurants, pubs and cafes will have to shut until Wednesday, December 2.

But while diners can’t eat in, fast food places will be allowed to offer takeaway food and delivery services.

It means you’ll still be able to tuck into your favourite fast food grub – just from the comfort of your home.

The new rules apply to England only – Scotland and Wales have separate coronavirus restrictions in place.

But unlike the first lockdown, pubs won’t be able to serve takeaway pints in a bid to stop people gathering on the streets.

If you’re ordering food for delivery, keep in mind you’ll likely pay extra for the luxury of getting it delivered to your door.

Delivery charges between the major companies – including Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats – will vary depending on the restaurant you choose and how far away you are.

Here’s which places will remain open for takeaway and delivery:

Burger King

Burger King hasn’t said if it’ll still be offering delivery or takeaway during the second lockdown.

It currently runs home delivery options through Deliveroo and Just Eat, while click and collect is available through its website.
