But there is nothing small about these bargains. Here’s how your reduced-size turkey can save you big bucks.
JOINT AT THE HIP: A 780g frozen butter-basted turkey joint that serves four people is £6 at Asda, but you can bag one for £4 at Tesco if you scan your Clubcard at the checkout.

CROWN THE WINNER: At Morrisons, a small frozen turkey breast crown for four to five people is a whopping £14.
But if you’re going to pay that price, I’d recommend going large with the Bernard Matthews Golden Norfolk basted turkey crown at Iceland. It serves 11-14 and is currently on offer for £14, down from £20.
SAVE: £6 at Iceland and get a larger turkey crown
WHOLE BIRD: A small basted frozen whole turkey will set you back £12 at Tesco. But if you shop at Asda, you can bag one for £9.50. Both serve four to seven people.
SAVE: £2.50
TOTALLY ROARSOME: If the little ones are not keen on having regular slices of turkey on their plates, there’s no need for them to miss out. Why not buy a bag of Bernard Matthews turkey dinosaurs?
A 450g bag is on offer at Sainsbury’s for £1.50, down from £2. That way they’re still getting their turkey serving.
