A SUPERMARKET giant is selling a bottle of bubbly that’s just like Moet Rose but for £37 less.

If you fancy a glass of sparkling wine without bursting the bank, you’ll want to head to Morrisons.

The retailer is selling a 75cl bottle of Cremant De Limoux Rose for £12.50 and it’s £37.50 cheaper than its same size Moet Rose Imperial – selling for £50.

Cremant is a sparkling wine similar in flavour to champagne except it’s made outside of the Champagne region in France.

Morrisons’ Cremant De Limoux Rose comes with crisp apple, raspberry and ripe summer berry flavour notes.

It also comes with glowing reviews on Morrisons’s website, with one shopper noting its “good value” and that it’s “so delicious”.

A second said it was so tasty they have “now put another three bottles on my next shop” and urged others to try it.

Meanwhile, a third added: “Very dry, not too fruity and fairly acidic. A good, less expensive alternative to champagne.”

If you want to pick up a bottle of the bubbly, you can order it off Morrisons’s website.

But bear in mind, you’ll have to spend a minimum of £25 if you want to order it to your home.

There’s also a minimum £3.50 delivery fee or it costs 50p to click and collect from your local store.

You can find your nearest Morrisons branch by using the retailer’s store locator tool on its website.

Shopping discounts – How to make savings and find the best bargains

Remember to always shop around when buying something like this as you might find a cheaper alternative.

Websites like Trolley and Price Spy let you compare thousands of products across different retailers to find the best price.

Price Spy even lets you see how much an item has cost over time.

A quick scan on the Google Shopping/Product tab will also bring up how much retailers are selling a certain item for too.

We had a quick look online to see if any other retailer’s are selling a Moet Rose dupe for less than Morrisons, and in fact found two.

Aldi sells a 75cl bottle of Crémant de Bordeaux Rosé for £8.49, although it is currently out of stock.

M&S also stocks a Cremant De Bordeaux Rose Brut in 75cl bottles for £10, but you’ll need to order £40 worth of produce to qualify for home delivery.

It’s not the first time a dupe from Morrisons has had shoppers buzzing.

Foodies were left raving about the retailer’s Millie’s Cookie dupe last July that came in cheaper than the real thing.

Other retailers are known for stocking dupes that are just as good as the real thing but will save you some cash.

One B&M shopper recently spotted six at the retailer that saved her a whopping £199.

Aldi has just started stocking a number of beauty dupes in store too, including Lacura Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair & Scalp and Lacura Hydrate & Moisturise Scalp Serum for £3.99.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

Pharmacy chain Superdrug is selling eight beauty dupes that could save you up to £240 when compared to the real deal too.

In other news, B&M shoppers have been rushing out to buy a household essential scanning for 10p instead of £3.
