One of the new EX cards that will be added to the TCG is Scream Tail EX which will act as a Basic Pokémon card with 190HP.

Scream Tail has a very powerful move that can only be used on its first turn, but is one of the strongest in the game.

More in Pokémon

Its attack Scream costs just one Energy but prevents your opponent from using a Supporter Card on their next turn.

Supporters are the strongest cards in the game, and are good at disruption, especially in Control decks with powerful cards like the Miss Fortune Sisters.

Its second attack Crunch costs three Energy, but can be particularly disruptive by discarding an Energy from your opponent’s active Pokémon while still dealing 120 damage.

One of the strongest aspects of the Scream Tail EX is that it only has one Retreat Cost, meaning you can start with it, use Scream, and then retreat it to bring in a stronger attacker.

Iron Thorns EX – 077/167

This is an EX game that can be powerful in any deck that used to use Path to the Peak as a Stadium card before the new rotation.

Iron Thorns EX has a similar effect to Path to the Peak through its ability Initialization.

It also has further benefits if you want to run other Future Pokémon with abilities like Iron Jugulis as it blocks all abilities except those of Future Pokémon.

Iron Thorns EX also has 230HP, and its second attack Volt Cyclone deals 140 damage and allows you to move energy from Iron Thorns to a benched Pokémon.
