When is Black Friday 2020?

Black Friday is November 27 this year – the day after the American holiday Thanksgiving, celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November.

But Black Friday sales are rarely kept to one day, as some brands and retailers start to drop prices a fortnight in advance.

Last year, GoPro’s own Black Friday deals brought a big saving on the company’s Hero8 Black bundle.

That’s not to say other retailers won’t offer the brand’s devices at a discount though, and it will certainly be worth comparing prices this year.

When is Cyber Monday and will GoPro be taking part?

Cyber Monday will be on November 30 this year and GoPro is bound to take part.

It could to be your last chance to get a great deal on the GoPro you’ve been dreaming about.

What to expect from GoPro’s Black Friday sale in 2020

Discounts on standalone action cams and bundles are most likely for GoPro, especially after the success of its Hero8 Black bundle last year.

The more affordable Hero7 and top-end Max cameras will no doubt also see discounts; better than the savings available at the time of writing. Not forgetting GoPro’s camera accessories, lighting and gear products. These may also be subject to category specific savings.

GoPro isn’t the only seller of its products of course, so other retailers may also provide some tempting offers.

What was in GoPro’s Black Friday sale last year?

Last year, GoPro reduced its new Hero8 Black Bundle by £100, so customers could snap it up for £329.99 (£150 of bonus value, including accessories).

The Hero8 is kitted out with all the latest features for unbelievable video and audio – even in extreme conditions.

In addition to the camera, which includes built-in mounting, a choice of lenses and shake-proof technology, the bundle comes with a Shorty grip, Head Strap, 32GB SD card and spare battery.

Also last year, shoppers could trade in any digital camera – in any condition – and knock £100 off the Hero8. Not too shabby.
