The chains currently offer takeaway or delivery via Just Eat.

Restaurants and pubs are closing up from 10pm tonight as new coronavirus restrictions come in from midnight.

They will only be able to offer takeaway or delivery services.

But Mitchells and Butlers as decided not to to do this.

There are over 230 Harvester venues in the UK, while there are 158 Toby Carvery’s.

The group also owns Miller & Carter, Sizzling Pubs, O’Neill’s, All Bar One and Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery chains. It will not offer any takeaway or delivery services during the second lockdown.

Toby Carvery first launched its takeaway service back in November 2018.

During the first lockdown, many big brands, such as McDonald’sKFCNando’s and Pizza Express, closed their operations entirely.

The situation is different this time around with the lockdown only set to be in force for a month – from November 5 until December 2, and many food chains have pledged to stay open for takeaway and delivery too.

These include all of the above brands, as well as other popular chains such as Greggs and Subway – check out the full list.

We’ve explained whether takeaways will be open during the second lockdown.

Greene King has decided to close some pubs early.

While some shops have extended their opening hours tonight.

A loophole in the rules means pubs will be able to serve takeaway pints.
