THE Game Awards is the gaming version of the Oscars, and the awards given there are the most highly coveted of the year.
While most of the awards are decided by a panel of judges, there is one award that is decided entirely by fans.
Gamers often complain that the way games are reviewed by critics often doesn’t reflect the way that most people feel about games.
That is why the Players’ Voice award exists which is 100% based on the public’s votes.
The first round of votes is now live, and there are 30 games available to vote for, both from this year and ongoing games from previous years.
People have just one day to put in a vote for their favourites, before a number of games will be eliminated and the second round of voting begins.
More in Gaming Releases
If you want to take part in the first round of voting, then all you need to do is go to The Game Awards website.
The list includes a number of games that have already been nominated in other categories for this year’s Game Awards show.
There are also major games that missed out on nominations like Hogwarts Legacy and Starfield.
In a year of such amazing games, it can be really difficult to pick just one favourite.
