The aim of The Traitors is for the so-called majority of Faithfuls to uncover the identity of enemy Traitors who are murdering Faithfuls.
The BBC has launched a Traitors board game, but it is a pricey £27 from Argos. Werewolf is a similar game, and the card game version of that is £13 at Amazon.
But you can play a basic game inspired by the show without any kit.

You will need at least seven people to play.
THE RULES: You need a moderator who, in Claudia Winkleman style, at the start picks out two or three Traitors (depending on numbers) with a shoulder tap when everyone has their eyes closed.
Everyone else is a Faithful. The game begins in the “night” phase, familiar to TV viewers, when everyone shuts their eyes.
However, the Traitors (and moderator) will then open their eyes to reveal their identities to each other.

They then decide who to kill by silently gesturing.
When decided, the moderator announces it’s daytime, and all can open their eyes. They will also reveal who has been murdered and is out of the game.
All players then discuss and vote on who to eliminate based on who they think is a Traitor. The Faithfuls are trying to uncover a Traitor rather than voting out one of their own.
As with the show, the player cast out reveals their true identity.
The game will go back into the night phase with the Traitors making another killing. The game keeps going until all Traitors or Faithfuls are out.
