Hungry Horse is giving families four meals and a dessert to share for £4 each

PARENTS can feed hungry kids during the half term break for just £4 each at Hungry Horse pubs.

The pun chain has launched a new deal that includes main meals for a family of two adults and two kids and a big ice cream pudding to share for dessert.

Menu choices include pub favourites such as fish and chips, pizza, and chicken buckets.

You can either go for the “Pub Fave Deal” where you each select a dish from the selected menu or you can get a Pizza Deal or Chicken Deal where you get various mains and sides to share – see the full list in the box below.

With each three options the sharing dessert is called “The Ultimate Candymania”, which has chocolate and vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and cream, cookie pieces, Maltesers, M&Ms, and Twix fingers.

The dinner deal costs £16 in total, which works out as just £4 each for a family of four, though prices can vary locally and it’s worth checking first.

Drinks are not included in the deal so you’ll have to add the price on top.

The delicious deal is available from today until November 1 and there’s no limit on the day or time it’s available.

You can find the “Treat the Family” deal at the pub chain’s more than 200 locations across the country.

We took a look at the usual menu and found fish and chip mains, for example, usually cost £5.99 each and The Ultimate CandyMania is the same price.

That adds up to nearly £18 already for two adult mains and one sharing dessert, and that’s without adding the kids mains too. So this deal is likely to be a saving.

Rob Calderbank at Hungry Horse said: “We like to offer something for everyone at Hungry Horse at great value, so we’re really excited to be bringing back our popular Treat the Family deals across all of our currently trading pubs.”

Hungry Horse isn’t the only place offering half term deals to feed hungry kids though.

Parents can save some serious cash at the M&S cafe where kids can eat free if their mum or dad spends £3 at the cafe on any main food item.

Meanwhile, Toby Carvery is bringing back its kids eat for £1 meal deal for the October half term.

Don’t forget, pubs, bars and restaurants across England are restricted by a 10pm curfew, with similar rules in place in Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales where coronavirus is a devolved issue.
