A MUM-of-three who lives in a council house even though she makes £4,000 a month refuses to move and says she wants a bigger one.

Whitney Ainscough, 30, found social media fame after she posted videos on TikTok of grim-looking packed lunches at her Rotherham home in South Yorkshire.

Despite the mum making a decent living from her social media accounts, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council say she is “not in breach of their tenancy”.

The self-confessed “bad mom,” which is the name she goes by on TikTok, claims she made £15,000 in January and another £17,000 in February.

She pays just £458 to rent her two-bedroom council property on the outskirts of Rotherham.

Her name is also on a waiting list for a bigger four-bedroom council house because she says her home is too small for her, her three children, aged 11, six and two, as well as her partner Joel Christopher, 32.

While Whitney may have the money rolling in now, she has also gone through some tough times.

SUFFERED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

She fell into debt to the tune of £30,000 which was spent on making “herself feel better after suffering domestic violence in a previous relationship.

She was living off Universal Credit but can now afford luxury holidays and travelling to Egypt for gastric sleeve surgery.

Whitney had entered into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) in order to pay her debts off.

Although the IVA has now been paid off, she claims she is unable to get a mortgage because it is still on her credit rating.

Whitney doesn’t take any criticism from people though, telling them to “p**s off”.

Council estate mum gets branded ‘lazy’ and ‘selfish’ as she scoffs massive Chinese before bragging about £6K Egypt surgery to ‘make her skinny’

She told MailOnline: “P*** off. Seriously, p*** off. I pay to live here.

“These people who are on benefits and getting the house for free, they don’t pay to live there.

“I pay to live here just like anybody else does but they get housing benefit and whatever else. I pay the money out of my wage.

“Why should I just move just because I am earning a lot more money now?

“Just because I am earning a lot of money doesn’t mean I am in breach of any contract. It doesn’t mean I have to move out of my house. I pay for my house.”

Currently there are five people living in a two-bedroom house and Whitney said they are “struggling for space”.

While she admits to racking up the sizeable debt Whitney said that had now been paid back but it left her in the “financial s**t” as the IVA remains on your credit history for six years.

Whitney said she remained defiant in the face of her critics and would keep on doing what she is doing.

She recently splashed some of her cash on a new Range Rover which features in some of her online videos.

What are the reasons why you can be evicted from your council property?

Despite the outcry from some people, a council tenant cannot be evicted from their home simply for earning lots of money.

However, there are a number of reasons a council can use to end your tenancy.

Rent arrears

Not paying the rent is the main reason for eviction from a council tenancy.

This can include either owing a lot of money or not paying your rent or service charges on time.

Antisocial behaviour

This can include both antisocial and criminal behaviour either by the tenant, their family or a visitor.

Breaking your tenancy agreement

The council can take you to court if you break a term in your tenancy agreement.

This can include late payment of rent and not allowing people into your home to carry out repairs and safety checks.

Not telling the truth on your application

You could be evicted if you said something that was not true when you applied to join the housing register.

You do not live in your home

The council can end your tenancy if you move out permanently.

Whitney shot to social media fame by posting horrible-looking packed lunches for her kids while playing the role of a “bad mom”.

She said that once she had one video go viral on TikTok, then it just started the ball rolling and her popularity grew.

The mum added that while did make those videos of the packed lunches and showing her going to Wetherspoons while her children were at school she said they were just for TikTok and “bants. It is just content.”

‘BIG THINGS’ IN THE FUTURE

Whitney also has “big things” planned for the future too, adding that she was in talks at the minute and claimed she would earn a lot of money from it.

A Rotherham Council spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a tenant would not be in breach of their tenancy should their earnings change, as long as they continued to meet the conditions of their contract.”
