LOVED-up couples can heat-up their Valentine’s Day with a meaty dinner-for-two from Iceland for £8.

A romantic restaurant meal is looking unlikely this year amid lockdown restrictions but lovebirds can still tuck-in to decent food.

You can get a side of dauphinoise potatoes for an extra £2 and a bottle of Kumala Cape Classic red wine for £5.25.

The sides and wine are the same price as normal so this meal would cost £15.25 in total.

The £8 meal deals work out cheaper than Valentine’s Day offerings from other supermarkets such as M&S, the Co-op and Morrisons but you don’t get any starters and only get desserts with the Gino D’Acampo range.

Iceland is currently offering a box of three Magnum ruby ice-creams for half price at £1.94 or you can get two tubs of Ben & Jerry’s chocolate fudge brownie for £7 when you spend £35 or more online.

The meals can be ordered online for delivery if you can get a slot or you can shop in-store.

Use the Iceland store locator to find your nearest supermarket.

The offers end on February 16.

Here’s how we rated all the Valentine’s Day supermarket meal deals from 2020 including Tesco, Asda and Aldi.

Morrisons was rated highest with its impressive savings of £19.20 and a decent selection of food.

But Sainbury’s was least impressive with a saving of £2.10 and a weak choice of grub.
