SHOPPERS are racing to supermarkets to get their hands on bargain Bluey chairs which are in stores today.

Aldi has dropped a range of toys based on the hit kids’ cartoon Bluey following the blockbuster finale episode last week.

In stores as part of the Special Buys from today, the range features a Bluey or Bingo Talking Plush, £14.99, the Bluey or Bingo Plush Chair, £24.99, and a four-figure set of characters for £8.99.

The Bluey plush armchairs have proved most popular with customers today with some stores already selling out.

Shoppers could hardly wait to get their hands on the Bluey chairs and many said they were prepared to put up a fight.

One Facebook user confessed: “Didn’t have to ram anyone with the pushchair but was fully prepared to.”

“The things we do for our kids ah,” said another.

A third user said: “Omg!!! How friggin cute?!”

“I ran like a ninja,” claimed someone else.

The talking teddy is exclusive to Aldi as Bluey or Bingo so you won’t be able to find them in any other supermarkets.

These toys have nine different phrases and sing the Bluey theme song.

Bear in mind that in-store and online prices may vary, since the range is so popular you may need to head to a few different stores before you find the product you are looking for.

You can use the Aldi store locator tool to find your nearest branch.

You can get other Bluey toys in other stores such as Smyths Toys which is selling Bluey Kids’ wired headphones for £12.99.

Asda currently has a Bluey three-piece swim top, trunks and matching hat set on sale for £9.60.

Always remember to shop around when buying something like this as well as you might find something similar cheaper elsewhere.

What are Aldi Specialbuy Toys?

Aldi released exclusive toy ranges throughout the year, especially during holidays.

Kevin the Carrot is the supermarket’s most popular toy as he makes a return every Christmas and has even taken part in Christmas adverts.

Most recently the German discounter revealed Kevin would get an Easter makeover in a sheer or lamb Easter cover.

The iconic Aldi wooden toy range has proved popular with shoppers every year as well.

When is the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50% of the recommended sales price before stores open based on their best before or use-by dates.”

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as they open.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.

You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.

They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible
