The most popular homes for sale overseas that Britons have browsing have been revealed, and they all boast multi-million pound price tags.

The mega-expensive homes can be found on the overseas section of Britain’s biggest property website Rightmove, and surprisingly considering Britons’ love of European holiday homes, four out of the five are in the USA.

The exception is a property on the Spanish island of Mallorca, although the chic modern property could easily be something from the Californian hills or straight out of Netflix‘s Selling Sunset.

The prices of the properties range from the most expensive at £36million to the cheapest at just shy of £4million.

Rightmove’s Tim Bannister said: ‘Travelling abroad has been restricted for quite some time now, but these measures haven’t stopped the British public from scrolling online to discover their favourite European villas and American mansions.

‘There remains a huge appetite to view stunning overseas homes and this round-up includes a bulletproof New York fortress and a wonderful home on the south west coast of Mallorca.’

We take a look inside each of the properties and what they have to offer affluent homebuyers – or those without deep pockets who are just dreaming of living in a luxury home.
