Is Argos open on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day?

Yes, but opening hours will vary so check details for your local area on the Argos website.

Was Argos open on Boxing Day?

On Boxing Day, standalone Argos stores, and Argos stores within Sainsburys opened from 10am to 5pm.

At the time, aspokesperson said: “We have reduced our opening hours for Boxing Day to allow all our colleagues to spend a little more time with their families, while enabling our customers to shop for the items they may need during the festive period.”

Was Argos open on Christmas Eve?

The majority of our Argos stores were open from 9am to 6pm on Christmas Eve and Argos stores within a Sainsbury’s store matched the opening hours of the supermarkets they are located in, with most open from 6am to 7pm.

Argos was closed on Christmas Day but you could still shop online.

Is Argos open in Tier 4?

If an Argos branch is in a Tier 4 area then it is only allowed to open for click and collect and delivery orders.

Shoppers can’t enter stores but they queue outside to pick up click and collect deliveries.

Argos shops inside Sainsbury’s supermarkets will stay open for the collection of pre-paid online orders.

Shoppers can also make new purchases in store too, as well as return items.

The same rules apply to Argos shops in Wales, which entered a new lockdown on December 20.

Argos stores in Tier 1, 2 and 3 areas are open as usual.

Argos branches in Scotland and Northern Ireland remain open as usual.
