It’s frustrating for bargain hunters keen to take advantage of its up to 68% off Boxing Day sales.

Here, we take you through Next stores opening hours over the New Year bank holiday weekend.

Are Next stores open in Tier 4?

Next shops in Tier 4 areas of England must remain closed for browsing as they are classed as non-essential.

However, they will be open for click and collect and returns.

Branches remain open in areas of England under Tier 1, 2 and 3 restrictions.

What are Next’s opening hours over New Year?

Outside of Tier 4 areas, UK stores opened as usual this morning (New Year’s Eve) but will close early.

On New Years Day, Next has normal opening hours, although local lockdown rules apply.

It’s best to check with your local store exactly if and when it will be open over the New Year break.

You can do this by typing in your postcode to the store locator tool.

Can I still shop Next online?

Yes, Next is still operating an online delivery service so you can still shop the sales via the website.

If you’re shopping online then you need to factor in delivery costs on top of the price of your item.

Next shoppers can click and collect for free, while home delivery sets you back £3.99.
