GOING to the beach is fun until it’s time to dive into your bag of chips because there’s nothing worse than biting into a snack seasoned with sweet, sweet sand.

A TikTok user shared the perfect way to make sure your hands are sand-free and all you’ll need is a kitchen staple.

Christie Moeller, a fashion stylist, revealed: “I use this trick on set when trying to get sand off models’ bodies quickly but you can use it on your next trip to beach.

“All you need is cornstarch, a sock, and a rubber hand.”

She then explains that all you need to do is fill the sock with some cornstarch to create a good pouch and then tie it up with the rubber band.

The stylist continued: “The magic is that the cornstarch dries out the moisture from the sand that makes it stick to your skin.

“So grab your little pouch and the sand will wipe right off!” she said as she wiped the little pouch as her skin which caused the sand to fall off.

“And if you’re not using this little ball of magic, keep it in a baggie so the cornstarch doesn’t get everywhere.”

Some of her followers took to the comment section to suggest that if people don’t have corn starch or they don’t like it, they can use baby powder.

She even claimed that it works on skin that has been covered in sunscreen, causing the sand to stick even more.
