MATALAN has slashed its sale prices with savings now of up to 80% – and some items are on sale for as little as 50p.

The retailer has further cut the cost of clothes for women, men and children, along with some homeware in its new year clearance.

Thousands of items were on sale with as much as 60% off last week but patient shoppers are in for further savings now.

Due to various lockdowns across the UK, all Matalan stores across England, Scotland and Wales are currently closed for browsing.

But the good news is that you can still shop online to get the discounts.

Matalan offers standard home delivery for £3.95, or you can click and collect for free from a select number of stores.

Just keep in mind that as it’s a clearance sale, the discounts are only available as long as stocks last.

This two-pack of cute dinosaur-print masks for kids are non-medical grade and machine washable. There are other designs on sale too.

They are now reduced to just 50p after going down to £1 last week from its original price of £2.50.

Poundtoy.com is also selling two-packs of dinosaur face masks for kids, but for a pricier £2.

Matalan’s cord skirt comes in black, blue and pink which is on sale for under a fiver.

It’s made of cotton and is machine washable with people who have bought it praising its great shape and perfect fit, concluding it’s a “great buy”.

We found a similar skirt from M&S in red or black reduced to £6.

Merch related to the ever-popular TV show Friends has been spotted in loads of places, including PJs at Primark and homeware at Aldi.

Matalan’s cotton t-shirt features the famous logo and there are two other versions with festive designs.

Could this be any cheaper? Actually, no. The closest we found was this New Look one for £7.49 on sale and this H&M one for £9.99.

As well as the punk print and fun colour, these boots come with velvet laces.

With a number of five star reviews, parents and grandparents say kids love ’em.

These are some pretty unique shoes and the closest we were able to find were these multicoloured metallic print Kickers which are a much pricier £25 (though reduced from £53).

Several rugs are discounted in Matalan’s sale and the biggest reduction we found was this orange one – There are other colours available but the reductions and sizes vary.

It’s around a third of its original price, measures 110cm by 60cm and is made from soft-touch yarn and has a subtle sheen.

The closest we could find to to this rug was from Wayfair and costs £19.99.

Matalan has skinny stylechinos on sale with a range of sizes still available.

The trousers come in other colours but only this khaki green is discounted.

You can find similar styles at Burton – this brown coloured pair is a similar price at £6.40 – while Uniqlo’s selling some on sale for £9.90.

Robert Dyas has launched sale with up to 63% off – including furniture and homeware.

Asda is selling slow cookers for a third off and prices start from just £8.

At Dunelm, Christmas clearance prices start from only 25p.
