While another said: “We need this for the caravan!”

Asda describes the pool as a “beautiful clear turquoise colour with mosaic pattern all around the side of the pool”.

It features plug for easy drainage and quick deflate valve.

The inflatable pool is approximately H 2.11 m x W 1.32 m x D 46 cm.

It is “perfect” for kids aged six and over.

Reviews for the item online include: “Excellent product the grandchildren have had so much fun in this pool.”

And: “Brilliant pool, great size and cheap price. Kids love it.”

Shoppers won’t be able to find it for £5 on the Asda website as it is still listed as full price online.

But several comments on Facebook stated that the pool was on sale at their particular Asda stores for a fiver.

Do bear in mind that when prices are reduced by this much it’s usually in order for stores to clear excess stock, so prices and stock will vary from store to store.

It’s always best to phone ahead to your local shop to check what they have available to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest Asda store using the locator tool on the website.

Waitrose is also selling a similar item for £24.
