MCDONALD’S is kicking off the holiday season with a massive free Christmas jumper giveaway.
There are 3,000 free navy-blue cross-switch style sweaters up for grabs, with a festive design including fries, Big Macs, snowflakes, carrots and reindeer antlers.

It comes as the fast-food chain unveils its “Lets Get Reindeer Ready” Christmas treats.
To enter, you can add your personal details to the competition website every week starting this week for a chance to win the ultimate winter warmer.
This week there’s 197 medium, 241 large jumpers and 177 extra large jumpers up for grabs.
The final draw takes place on December 15 but if you’ve still not won a jumper by then, it’s not the last chance to bag a festive freebie.
For anyone who doesn’t have any luck in the final jumper draw, McDonald’s will automatically enter them into another one-off draw to win an exclusive Christmas bauble.
How to win a McDonald’s Christmas jumper

- Go to reindeerready.co.uk
- Click on the Christmas jumper icon labelled “Competition”
- Select United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland
- Fill out your personal details including name, email address and home address
- Select the size you want to win – Medium, Large, Extra large
- Click submit!
You can reenter every week until December 15 and your personal details will only be used by McDonald’s if you win.
You must be 18 or over to enter.
As part of its “Lets Get Reindeer Ready” offering, McDonald’s has also published a children’s audio book, which is free to download on the Reindeer Ready website. The festive story follows Tom and his family as they decorate their Christmas tree.
The website also links you to McDonald’s new augmented reality Christmas game on Instagram, where you have to catch reindeer treats with a Santa sack.
Finally, there is also the option to download Christmas-themed kids activity and colouring-in sheets.
It comes after the fast-food giant launched it’s festive menu including a double Big Mac with a whopping four patties and a Celebrations McFlurry.

McDonald’s is not the only fast-food chain to bring out a Christmas jumper this year.
KFC is selling its own range of festive merchandise including jumpers, bobble hats, caps and phone cases.
Greggs is also giving out festive treats to its fans by offering £10 worth of good for half-price including a free Christmas bake.
