The new menu is set to drop on January 4 at all UK and Ireland restaurants.

Maccies is bringing back the much-loved Steakhouse Stack burger as part of the shakeup.

It’s made up of two beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and lettuce topped with a creamy peppercorn sauce, all in a toasted bun.

The burger will cost from £5.49 for a single item and £7.19 for a medium meal.

Fans have been begging to return since it was launched in March 2023.

Several foodies said the burger was the best McDonald’s has ever had last time it was on the menu.

One wrote: “This is one of the best burgers I have ever tasted, had a really nice kick to it to and peppercorn sauce is my fave – would definitely recommend it.”

Another said: “Had one yesterday – best McDonald’s burger I’ve ever had. It is very peppery so if you can’t handle that it isn’t for you.”

And a third commented: “Definitely the nicest burger from McDonald’s ever. Serious combination of flavours. Love it.”

Since the addition was axed last year, fans have been calling for its return and are thrilled they’ll get to try it again.

One posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “THE STEAKHOUSE STACK IS BACK IN MACCIES IN JANUARY!”

While another said: “The steakhouse stack is back in Maccies in January, we’re off to a good start.”

It’s not just the burger that’s back, the Fajita Chicken wrap, which was first introduced to menus in January 2020, is also making a comeback after over three years.

Plus, it comes with a new recipe, combining creamy fajita sauce and tomato salsa with onions, cheese and shredded lettuce, all inside a toasted tortilla wrap.

You can choose between grilled or crispy chicken options too, with prices starting from £3.49.

Cheesy Garlic Bites are also back, which last featured on menus in August 2023 after launching for the first time in 2021.

They combine a blend of mozzarella and emmental cheese, in a garlic herb coating.

Prices for a pack of five starts from £2.59 or you can opt for a sharebox of 15 which is £6.79.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, there are two McFlurry’s which both mix classic Dairy Milk chocolate with vanilla ice cream.

You can get one with either sweet caramel sauce or chocolate sauce.

How can I save on my McDonald’s order?

There are plenty of ways you can save on your next trip to McDonald’s.

But always keep in mind menu prices can vary across different restaurants – so perhaps check prices online first to avoid getting a surprise.

You can get freebies on your birthday if you’ve got the My McDonald’s app – it’s free to download and you’ll only need a few quick details to get set up.

Remember to log your date of birth on the app though, otherwise you’ll miss out.

You can get a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 as well if you fill out the quick feedback survey following your last visit.

All you’ll need is your receipt which should have been issued no more than 60 days after your visit.

How do I find my nearest McDonald’s?

If you’re planning on taking a trip to McDonald’s, you’ll want to know where your nearest branch is.

The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.

Bear in mind that McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am.

After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.
