M&S is selling a roast meal deal where you get a joint and two sides for a bargain £8.

The offer was first spotted by the Facebook page of Bristol’s The Mall Causeway shopping centre, which houses an M&S store, but the retailer has since confirmed to The Sun you can indeed get the deal in selected stores.

The Facebook post in question shows a picture of an M&S cabinet stocked high with Sunday lunch favourites and a sign above it saying “£8 roast deal”.

In the caption, the west country shopping centre adds that you can get one roasting joint and two sides as part of the offer, which is “Sunday lunch sorted”.

Joints include Aberdeen angus beef, lamb, gammon, chicken and turkey, while sides include Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, red cabbage and more.

The Sun has asked M&S to confirm how long the offer lasts, as well as the price and weight of items included but you can find a full list below.

What’s included in M&S’ roast deal?

HERE’S what you can pick from to create M&S’ £8 roast deal:

Meat joints

  • Aberdeen angus beef roasting joint
  • Pork, sage & onion stuffed chicken
  • Rotisserie chicken
  • Gammon honey glaze
  • Lamb roasting joint
  • Oakham turkey joint

Sides

  • Bramley apple sauce
  • Beef gravy
  • Broccoli, Carrot & Courgette
  • Tenderstem broccoli
  • Red cabbage
  • Carrot & swede crush
  • Cauliflower cheese
  • Chicken gravy
  • Dijon mustard
  • Creamed horseradish
  • Ultimate mash
  • Mint sauce
  • Parmentier potatoes
  • 12 Pigs in Blankets
  • Pork, Sage & Onion Stuffing
  • Roasting potatoes
  • Six Yorkshire puddings

When the fancy retailer launched a similar roast offer back in 2018 you could get a meat joint and four sides for £10, which was a saving of up to £9 compared to buying the items individually.

And while the latest deal isn’t as strong, it seems shoppers are still keen to try it out.

One person commented online: “Got to love M&S. We also need to try its stir fry deal and we love it’s dine in for two meals.” Someone else added: “What a brilliant idea.”

We couldn’t find any of the other major supermarkets offering similar meal deals specifically on roast dinners. At Tesco you can, however, get two mains, one side, one dessert, and one drink for £10 as part of its meal deal.

Options include beef and ale pie with potato dauphinoise, although we appreciate that’s not quite the same as meat and two veg on a Sunday.

Elsewhere, Asda is selling a roast chicken meal for one (400g), including chicken, roasties, Yorkies, stuffing, carrots, peas and gravy for just £2.40, which works out cheaper than M&S’ offering.

You may also be better off simply buying the individual items separately elsewhere so do a price comparison to check before buying.

We didn’t rate M&S’ curry meal deal when compared to other supermarkets’ offers.

Elsewhere, if you can’t wait until Christmas, M&S’ new festive food range includes gin-filled snow globe baubles and mini battered sausages.

It also has new Percy Pig “mince” pies that taste of sweets.
