House will first try to force Mike Pence to oust president by invoking 25th amendment and then move forward with impeachment

The Democrats are pushing forward on two fronts to remove President Donald Trump, calling on Mike Pence to oust his boss by invoking the 25th amendment and, if he doesn’t, the party will move forward with impeachment proceedings.

In a letter to colleagues on Sunday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that first the House would try to force the vice president, Mike Pence, and the cabinet, to remove Trump using the 25th amendment, and that House leaders would work to swiftly pass legislation to make this happen on Monday morning.
