ROCKET LEAGUE

This high-energy game is an arcade-style fusion of football and racing.

In Rocket League, players can climb the competitive ranks, go head-to-head in tournaments and complete an array of fun challenges.

A review from Brash Games on Metacritic said: “I have no problem saying that this is the best and most original sports game I have played since at least FIFA 12.

“It mixes all the best elements of sports and online multiplayer games into one in an affordable and seamless experience.”

A mystery about what happened to ancient humans is there to be unravelled.

But gamers can focus on forging friendships with in-game characters if that’s their forte instead.

Palia can be played solo or with pals – but they will have to be in your friends list first.

FORTNITE

We couldn’t not include everyone’s favourite battle royale title Fortnite.

It can be played with up to two friends locally and up to four online.

CAPCOM ARCADE STADIUM 2

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium is a “superior collection” of games in comparison with the first game in the series, according to a review from Play Magazine.

The title, released in 2022, revisits the golden age of arcade games.

“A superior collection to the first Arcade Stadium, this is an excellent way to revisit your youth and/or discover quality games that you never knew existed,” Play Magazine wrote in a review on Metacritic.

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium can be played with up to two players in co-op mode.

SKY: CHILDREN OF LIGHT

From the award-winning creators behind Journey – 2013’s Game of The Year – comes Sky: Children of the Light.

The game lets players team up and socialise with others to adventure in ever-expanding world.

With each update, the developers grow and shape the map with new attractions, including seasonal events and the expansion of realms.
