Hello, and welcome to this Monday’s edition of The Monitor, WIRED’s entertainment news roundup. On this fine day we have news about Netflix, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Star Wars. Let’s get to it.

Sandra Oh Is Working on a Netflix Show With the Game of Thrones Creators

For those of you who can’t get enough Sandra Oh—which is pretty much everybody—the Killing Eve star will soon star in a new six-episode dramedy on Netflix. Titled The Chair, the show will be executive produced by Oh and comes from Amanda Peet and and Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. (The show is the first thing to come out of the massive deal Benioff and Weiss made with Netflix last year.) The Chair, which will focus on the chair of a university English department, will be written by Peet, who will also serve as an executive producer and showrunner. And in other Oh news, Killing Eve‘s third season starts April 26.

Lucasfilm Reportedly Developing Star Wars Movie With Sleight Director

Well, this is interesting. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting, and Variety has confirmed, that Lucasfilm is developing a Star Wars project with J.D. Dillard, the director of Sleight, and Luke Cage writer Matt Owens. Other details about the project, which appears to be a film, are foggy, including where it will debut. According to reports, it could be a theatrical release or a project for Disney+. We’ll keep you updated.

Sonic the Hedgehog Continues to Rule the Box Office

In case you were wondering, videogame adaptations still pack a punch. For the second week in a row, Sonic the Hedgehog brought in the most bucks over the last few days. The flick landed $26.3 million domestically this past weekend, edging out Harrison Ford’s The Call of the Wild for the top spot. That brings its global take to more than $203 million. Pretty good for a Sega saga.
