Amnesty International says it has confirmed killings in town of Mai Kadra, Tigray

Scores, possibly hundreds, of civilians have reportedly been massacred with knives and machetes in Tigray, the restive northern province of Ethiopia where forces loyal to the local administration and the national military are engaged in fierce clashes.

Amnesty International says that according to witnesses, the victims were stabbed and hacked to death in the town of Mai Kadra three days ago.
