PLAYSTATION players are treated to a great discount this week, as one of the best games of 2024 so far has been slashed in price for the first time.
Released just three months ago, the 90-rated title is selling at its lowest-ever price, and you won’t find the same deal on other storefronts and platforms online.

Tekken 8 is the latest entry in the long-running Japanese fighting game series, and it launched to rave reviews in January 2024.
Praised as one of the best games in the franchise, Tekken 8’s PS5 version is rated 90 on review aggregator Metacritic, with a respectable 4.61/5.00 user score on the PlayStation Store.
While not offering many new features, Tekken 8 is the best-looking game in the series and tries its best to ease newcomers into increasingly complicated mechanics.

Usually priced at £69.99 / $69.99, Tekken 8 is now available for £48.99 / $48.99 from the PlayStation Store, saving you 30%.
Fans can also grab the Ultimate Edition of the game, which includes a one-year pass that will add four DLC characters by the end of 2024, at 20% off.
The Ultimate Edition also packs in a few character costumes and other in-game cosmetics.
A free Tekken 8 Demo is also available to all PlayStation 5 players, so you can try the game before you buy.

As the latest game in the Tekken series, number 8 is only available on PS5, so PS4 owners won’t be able to play it.
There are PC Steam and Xbox Series X|S versions of Tekken 8, but these are selling at full price right now.
PS5 players will have until May 2, 2024, at 8am UK Time / 3am ET to snatch this deal, and that’s when the game will revert to its regular price.
