A TEENAGER persuaded Nando’s to bring back his favourite meal by asking every day — and getting Anthony Joshua’s support.

Andreas Health was gutted when the restaurant chain ditched his beloved spicy Sunset Chicken Burger as part of a restricted takeaway menu during the pandemic.

His daily tweets to Nando’s about it got the attention of world heavyweight boxing champion AJ, who backed him on Twitter.

Five weeks later, Nando’s relented and put the dish back on the menu. The chain told Andreas: “Your persistence paid off.”

It also sent him a £20 voucher. The college student ordered the meal straight away — and said he nearly hugged the delivery driver.

Andreas, 17, from Stockport, Gtr Manchester, said: “I messaged them as a bit of a joke but people were getting on board with it.

“Then Anthony Joshua crops up and comments underneath on the second day, which was mad.

“I was really consistent with it and it paid off. I am genuinely so happy.”
