Now it’s time for another hugely popular Nintendo Switch exclusive to get its free swag.

2023 has been jam-packed with amazing games, but one has stood out among the pack of excellence.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom had fans in love with the amazing exploration and crafting gameplay.

As a reward for Zelda fans, Nintendo is now giving away free in-game items via the Switch.

Players can grab a Traveler’s Sword and a Lizalfos Tail so they can craft a whip to attack enemies.

And everyone can grab them, and it’s also super easy to do.

If you want to grab your free whip, all you need to do is make sure that your Switch is connected to the internet.

Then make sure that Tears of the Kingdom is on your Switch, either that it is downloaded if it is digital, or in your cartridge if it is physical.

Then you need to look at the Nintendo News tab and click on the Zelda news story.

Called “Whip enemies into shape” the news post will direct you to the game where you’ll be able to pick up your free items.

This kind of item drop is similar to the item drop that fans can get from using amiibo.

What is especially nice about this one is that you don’t have to buy anything at all.
