Users were responding to reports that the streaming service will raise its prices in 2024.

“I remember when it was 7.99 a month for unlimited streaming and it was the greatest deal ever at the time because they had so many movies and I think Hulu and maybe Amazon prime was their only competition lol,” wrote one user.

“Netflix needs some new plans. Like single 4k. Or college,” said another.

“I’ve paid every increase they’ve thrown at me, but this is just getting ridiculous,” another person complained.

Wall Street analysts have said they expect Netflix prices to rise again this year, reported Variety.

“We expect to see rate increases this year,” said UBS analyst John Hodulik about Netflix, according to the outlet.

Some customers have been left upset as Netflix increased its prices just a few months ago.

The Basic plan price has been raised from $9.99 a month $11.99 in the US.

“More affordable 4K, single screen, no ads is the only way I subscribe again. Otherwise I just keep sailing the high seas.

“I’m not paying for 4 screens if I can’t watch on 4 screens unless they are in the same house. That’s ridiculous,” one Reddit user wrote.

Netflix is the only streaming service that’s upsetting some of its users.

Research firm Antenna found that subscriber growth fell in 2023.

It was said to fall from 21.6 percent to 10.1 percent across streaming services.
