Normally the festive drink sells for £22, giving you a huge saving.

However, that is Sainsbury’s “Nectar Price” and shoppers will need a Nectar card to take advantage of the discount.

The money saving expert gave the details on his ITV show, saying: “Sainsbury’s, ten quid for a litre of Bailey’s, normally £22… it’s in-store and online.

“It is a Nectar Price so you will need a Nectar car, which is of course free.”

He added: “This is the cheapest Bailey’s deal I have seen all year.

“It will end on November 21 or when they run out of stock.

“Of course, please be drink aware.”

At the end of October, Sainsbury’s was selling a 1litre bottle of Bailey’s for £13, if you had a Nectar card.

Asda also slashed the price of their bottle by more than 40 per cent, charging customers £13.

Morrisons also have the creamy liqueur down to £13 online line and in-store. However, you’ll want to be fast with this one as the deal expires on December 17.

Tesco also has their Baileys on a deal but you’ll need to have a Clubcard to take advantage of this one.

Tesco’s £22 Baileys is now down to £13 with a Clubcard but you will need to be even faster with this one as the deal expires on December 11.

Bear in mind prices can vary from one day to the next and items can go on a deal at any point, especially during the festive season.

There might be a chance to get a bottle of Baileys even cheaper before Christmas although there is no guarantee.

Trolley.co.uk has a price comparison tool which compares the prices of 130,000 products across all major supermarkets.

The Latest Deals app also lets you search items and helps you compare prices at several supermarkets to see where it’s cheaper.
