Of course, Apple remains tight-lipped on all its upcoming products.

And we won’t find out for sure until the September time when the tech giant normally launches its new iPhone devices.

Analyst Jeff Pu has told 9to5Mac some of the new features we might expect, after apparently seeing a new investor note.

Pu says the iPhone 16 “might” support a brand new standard of Wi-Fi that’s set to be faster and smoother.

That standard is officially known as Wi-Fi 7, which was only just certified by the group that manages all things Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi 7 will have 320 MHz channels, which are much wider than the ones we have today.

Users can expect a lot less interference and signal congestion as a result.

Essentially, it’ll make our ever-growing need for more data possible.

But for it to work, you’ll need a router that supports Wi-Fi 7 – and the devices connecting to it, like your iPhone, will need to support Wi-Fi 7 too.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max currently support Wi-Fi 6E, the most recently version of Wi-Fi.

Aside from the potential Wi-Fi boost, the iPhone 16 will apparently feature a mighty new A18 chip, as well as 8GB of RAM to keep things smooth and speedy.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will reportedly feature the Qualcomm X75 modem to ramp up your 5G connection.

As for the camera, the Ultra Wide one is tipped to go from 12-megapixels to a whooping 48-megapixels.

iPhone tricks to try today

Here are some of the best…

  • Typing cursor – When typing, hold down the space bar to turn your keyboard into a trackpad, letting you move around words and sentences more easily
  • Close all Safari tabs – To do this in one go, simply hold the overlapped squares in the bottom right-hand corner, and press close all tabs
  • Delete lots of photos quickly – Hold down on a photo and then drag your finger diagonally in Photos to select lots of images at once, then hit delete
  • Convert currency quickly – Swipe down from the top of your Home screen (or swipe left to right on an iPhone X or later model), then tap in the bar and type a currency (like $200) and it will automatically covert to your local currency
  • Check if you’re due a battery upgrade – Batteries inside smartphones degrade over time. Just go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health, and check out the Maximum Capacity reading. Generally a battery is considered worn when you’re down to 80% capacity. If you’re below, you can buy a battery swap from Apple
  • Move apps around faster – Hold an app until it starts wiggling, then (while still holding) tap other apps, causing them to stack so you can move them around easier
