A CHILDHOOD favourite has made a comeback returning to B&M shelves after 20 years – and shoppers are ecstatic.
Horlicks, the malted drink retailer brought back its popular “malty tablets” last year but customers have only just spotted them.

The tablets were originally launched in the 1930s and were supplied to British and American troops during the Second World War as energy-boosting treats.
They were last available at around the turn of the century but were popular amongst fans in the 1980s.
The malted beverage company reportedly said it has brought back the sweets “in response to unprecedented demand from consumers across the nation”.
And it seems it made the right decision as Facebook users are raving about the treat and some are even experiencing a wave of nostalgia.

“I need these!”, wrote one, ” I love these so much. If I find them I’m clearing the shelf,” said another.
A third added: “I had these when I was little after swimming.. wow got to go get some.”
Even consumer champion Martin Lewis is a fan and joined a group called for their return.
He posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “I just had a yearning for Horlicks tablets.

“Haven’t had one for twenty years. I guess they no longer exist. Anyone know?”
Other fans said: “When I’m Prime Minister – and on recent evidence, anyone can be – Horlicks tablets will be distributed to all households.”

Another wrote: “I miss Horlicks tablets!!!”
A third posted: “I’m still sad they discontinued Horlicks tablets.”
While a fourth said on Facebook: “We would buy them in the bottles! We miss these SO much!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make them again!”
And a fifth wrote: “We used to buy them from the chemist when I was a child, miss them and still take a teaspoon every so often from a jar of Horlicks, please bring them back.”
The treats were originally marketed as an energy booster and were found in the chemist with items like Lucozade tablets.
But many seem to have enjoyed them as a malty sweet, with some comparing them to the inside of a Malteser.
Shoppers will soon be able to pick up the tablets from discount chain B&M.
They’ll be launching next week in all B&M stores, you can find your nearest one using the store locator tool on its website.
The tablets are said to have “the delicious, malty flavour and texture of the original”.
They’re even complete with all-new modernised tins, you can pick up a pack of 20 for £1.75.
Horlicks isn’t the only chain bringing back old favourites recently.
Shoppers have been racing to supermarkets to nab a Nestle “discontinued” fan favourite which has been spotted on shop shelves.
Nestle’s KitKat ice cream tub has been spotted on shelves in Farmfoods.
Fox’s has brought back its seasonal sticky toffee pudding Crunch creams and shoppers are delighted.
Lucozade fans were left literally buzzing after spotting a favourite flavour that disappeared from supermarket shelves.
The fizzy drink company’s popular Caribbean Crush was temporarily pulled last December following issues with its bottle supplier.
Cadbury has brought back a discontinued product last seen on supermarket shelves 10 years ago – and shoppers are going wild.
Food fans were left devastated after the business stopped distributing Christmas chocolate coins in 2014.
Earlier this year Home Bargains shoppers were rushing to buy a bag of classic ’90s sweets including a discontinued ‘staple’.
The discount store is now stocking a mixed bag of Barratt’s favourites lollies including the discontinued Frosties flavour.
