The rack is fitted with electrically heated rails that are said to provide ‘gentle, natural drying’.

It has 18 bars which you can hang clothes and towels from and have them dried in hours.

Weighing around 15kg Amazon’s electric heated rack is said to be easy to manoeuvre and store.

It is made from ‘lightweight, non-corroding aluminium’ and can be folded making it easier for ‘storage and transport’.

The majority of people who have used the rack are happy with it and left glowing reviews about the product.

One person wrote: “First-class it does what they say and saves money.”

Another added: “It arrived the next day and is small enough to make it manageable as I am elderly but large enough to take a considerable amount of laundry.

“Wonderful for airing clothes and hopefully when I buy the cover it will do a wonderful job of drying them if the weather is wet.”

Another review spoke about its pricing: “Because of its affordable price, I give it 10/10.

“A few hours and everything is dry, not very fast, not perfect, but again, for better performance.

They added: “You need to pay 5 times the price.”

However, some were not left all that impressed.

One reviewer wrote: “They only dry a thin strip if clothes are draped over the bars, or you can dry 2/3 of two t-shirts on the top.”

While another added: “Does the job.. but only comes up just after the middle of my thigh. And the plug lead is also short.”

The rack can hold up to 10kg of washing with a 12m drying space
