YOUR iPhone has three hidden buttons that unlock very useful shortcuts.

You might have missed all three of them unless you’re a real iPhone pro.

Back Tap

Back Tap is one of the most powerful and overlooked tools on your iPhone.

It’s an Accessibility feature that lets you assign functions to a “tap” of the back of your iPhone.

You can have different features assigned to a double-tap and a triple-tap.

Find it by going into Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap.

There are some default options for you to choose, like launching the camera, flashlight, or toggling the Lock Rotation.

But you can also assign it to custom Shortcuts you’ve made using the Apple app.

With that, you could use it to do almost anything.

It could open any app or even an album of photos if you prefer.

Side Button

Another little-known button “press” is hidden inside the Side Button.

Normally you’ll click this to lock or unlock your phone.

And you can hold it for Siri or double-click to launch Apple Pay for contactless payments.

But there’s a way to add functions to a triple-click of the Side Button.

Find it by going into Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut.

You can assign the triple-click to:

• Increase Contrast

• Reduce White Point
• Smart Invert
• Speak Screen
• Switch Control
• Voice Control
• VoiceOver
• Zoom

Background Sounds is particularly useful as it can instantly start a soothing rain or stream noise to help you nod off.

And Magnifier is extremely handy if you often need to read small text.

Virtual Button

Your iPhone also has a “hidden” virtual button that you’ll need to activate before you can see it.

If you have an iPhone from the last few years, it almost certainly lacks a Home button.

And if you’d rather have it back, you can add a virtual Home button to your iPhone.

You can turn it on by going into Settings > Accessibility > Touch and toggling on Assistive Touch.

But you can also say “Hey Siri, turn on Assistive Touch”.

This will unlock lots of gestures and settings on your iPhone.
