Here’s everything you need to know about Skull and Bones.

This is great, as it is launching on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, so there are multiple ways to play.

While it is available on PC, it is not on Steam, and can only be purchased via the Epic Games Store or Ubisoft Connect.

However, this does mean that you cannot play Skull and Bones offline, even if you are playing in single-player mode.

Is Skull and Bones on Game Pass or other subscriptions?

Skull and Bones is not available on Xbox Game Pass for Console or PC, and it is also not available via any tier of PlayStation Plus.

The only subscription you can play it on is Ubisoft’s own subscription service, Ubisoft+.

Skull and Bones is not available on Nintendo Switch, so it is also not part of Nintendo Switch Online.

Does Skull and Bones have PvP?

Skull and Bones is built so that you can play it entirely in single-player, but there are PvP options.

The majority of missions involve traversing the environment in PvE, but you can engage in PvP battles in the open world.

There is no sword fighting or melee combat, and you can only engage in naval combat with others.

There are safe zones around every major dock though, if you want to avoid engaging in battle.

Is there a Skull and Bones roadmap?

Ubisoft released a trailer that outlines all of the endgame content and the roadmap for the first year of Skull and Bones.

CEO Yves Guillemot called Skull and Bones a quadruple-A game, justifying the full price tag and the live service content.

The roadmap will include fights with ancient pirate lords and harder fights than those in the main game.

How big is the Skull and Bones map?

Based on interviews that the team held before the launch, the map is roughly 600 square kilometres or 230 square miles.

This means that the map is about ten times the size of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.
