A WOMAN who moved out of her home to live life on the road has revealed the different ways she manages to wash – and turns out, there are numerous options.

When it comes to living in a van, not every vehicle will have a shower – and someone who knows a little about this is Quin Gable, from Canada, North America.

The solo traveller, who used to work in the corporate world, regularly hikes and spends time with her two cats, often sharing videos on TikTok.

Recently, however, she took to her page to share her showering routine, with all the options she’s come across over the last two years.

For the most part, Quin will head to the nearest Planet Fitness gym branch, the membership of which costs her less than £15 per month.

As well as having a wide range of exercise equipment and classes to workout, Quin can also use the facilities which include a shower.

On times when it’s not available for whatever reason, she went on in the video, the pet lover will use a gas station – this will set her back by roughly £9 every time.

Other places where she can wash include hostels, which usually ask for £4, as well as a recreational centre, where she will have to fork out a little over £2 to use a shower.

”Or $0 if I beg a fellow nomad to use their shower,” Quin chuckled.

For a more special treat, meanwhile, the solo traveller likes to enjoy a little SPA visit, a day pass of which costs as little as £14 depending on the brand and location.

Another option that’s totally free, she shared to her 1.1million followers on the platform, was finding the nearest body of water, such as a crystal clear lake.

Since being posted on her page, the video’s racked up a whopping 11.4million views, as over 2,000 people raced to comments to share their thoughts.

One person said: ”I’m so glad showers at service station are free.. even our local shopping centre (mall) has free showers.”

Someone else chimed in: ”I want this life.”

”I miss traveling and nomad living [sic],” someone else added.

”Beautiful, I’d love to live like this,” a social media user penned.

Before becoming a full-time traveller, life was looking a bit different for Quin, who used to be working in the media industry.

”I worked corp as a marketing director for a magazine for 7 years and then left, started my own marketing firm,” she explained in the comments, adding she now worked remotely.

As well as building her company, Quin regularly posts clips of her life on TikTok page – some of her most recent videos include picturesque scenes in the nature, as well as tips and tricks when hiking.
