PC gamers can get a first look at the next Genshin Impact game – but you have to sign up now

GENSHIN Impact has taken the world by storm, offering players a premium RPG for absolutely free.

HoYoverse’s next game, Honkai: Star Rail, similarly attracted fans with a sci-fi take on an already hugely popular formula.

Despite Honkai: Star Rail only being released this year, the team is already preparing for its next game.

Zenless Zone Zero is the upcoming urban fantasy action RPG from HoYoverse.

It will follow the same formula as Genshin Impact and Honkai: Rail Star but just deliver it in a fun new setting.

We don’t have a release date for this one yet, but players will soon be able to get involved and play early.

If you want a chance to play the Zenless Zone Zero early, you will have to sign up for the closed beta.

In order to do this, you will need to go to the official Zenless Zone Zero website and sign up.

This will give you a survey where you need to fill out some preferences for video games and anime culture.

We were able to play Zenless Zone Zero earlier this year at Gamescom 2023, but that build was over a year old.

It’s likely that it has advanced a lot in that time, and will not even be similar to the first closed beta test that was held.

HoYoverse wrote that this closed beta will contain: “a series of changes and content updates that include new stories and explorable areas, more playable characters, re-designed combat mechanics, as well as a thoroughly overhauled city with new, immersive urban gameplay.

“In the upcoming closed beta, the city of New Eridu will be further revamped with a full-scale visual update based on the previous beta. 

“The game’s track list will also be more modern, vibrant, and groovy. 

“In addition, three new characters, each with their unique background and charm, will be coming to New Eridu to team up with players.”

Zenless Zone Zero has been confirmed to be released for PC and mobile devices, and will also likely come to consoles.
